where are you at with frontpage? we've got FP2000 extes installed in a VS
and can get it to install FP extensions in virtual hosts within the VS using
both the admin html scripts (FP's not freeVSD's) and using .exe from command
line as the VS admin. That part is really easy - the difficult part is
getting the permissions right so a user can publish a web.

we are slowing working through just about all combinations but not sure if
freeVSD is working against us without a patch - as FP complains about SUID
on the filesystems.

I think it's issues such as this that keeps the commercial users (such as
us) from using it - any commercial users on this list? We have 3 servers set
up testing this with various load options of freeVSD rpm, source etc. We
haven't got one anywhere near good enough to be 'commercial' and can see a
lot of work to get it near - pop not working, smtp not working, bind not
working, admins that cannot compile programs....we'd take a lot of
convincing to part with cash for a windows based GUI...
