[OT?] i get bumped to 8080 and 8443 - help

Hopefully some can help with this:

http://servername.com/graphics/
https://severname.com/graphics/

works fine, but

http://servername.com/graphics
https://severname.com/graphics

redirects me to

http://servername.com:8080/graphics/
https://severname.com:8443/graphics/

any idea what's wrong with apache?
