Hi,

I have succeeded to install apache-1.3.20 into my freeVSD system,
and virtual servers are also working with the new version of apache.

I compiled with following option:

./configure --with-layout=RedHat --enable-module=so
--enable-module=proxy --enable-rule=SHARED_CORE --enable-module=all
--enable-shared=max

Your new apache will be installed in /usr/local/apache, and
/usr/sbin/httpd will be replaced.

After that, rebuild your skel by executing following command:

vsd-genskel.pl

and recreate your virtual servers.

good luck!

P.S. I am very happy with freeVSD because it is the one what I had been
looking for so long time! Someone said that it had many bugs, but I do
not think so. It is stable, and the core system of freeVSD is ready for
commercial use. The system is very interesting. As I dig the system, I
feel the greatness of freeVSD. Anyway, thank you for giving us it as
 Open Source Software.
