I need to pick the collective brains of the esteemed group :)
I updated a 1.4.5 install on a 6.2 machine about 3 weeks
ago...reinstalling the 4 virtual servers per the directions. Everything
went fine, and the virtuals came right up and worked correctly. I
distinctly remember testing each admin account as it was created and the
password created to verify that each worked, and was the same as
before. This was performed via a telnet login to the virtual. All
worked.
I got a call today that there was a problem telneting into one of the
servers, and sure enough, it would not accept the admin user and
password. Even changed the password to make sure that wasn't the
problem. Everything in /etc/vsd/priv is correct, and allows admin to
telnet in... I have stopped and restarted the virtual, checked inetd,
everything I could think of... I'm stumped... Anyone have any ideas?
The telnet to the host still works fine... just not to any of the
virtuals...
