I too installed RedHat 7.1 and installed FreeVSD 1.4.9-2. I've used both
the pre-built rh62 skell, and the rh7.i686.rpm. Both methods seem to install
with no errors, however when attempting to create new VS I get the error of
"No such command". If I remove the skell name and number of allowed sub VS I
get the standard example of what the command structure should look like. So
I know that my server knows what the vsdadm vs_create ... command is and
what it should look like. I then changed over to /etc/rc5.d/ and typed
./K10vsd status and got: "vsd dead but subsystem locked" status message. I
restarted the script but it had no effect on the status. I tried executing
the vsdadm vs_create ... command from the /usr/sbin and put ./ in front of
it. Same message came up: "No such command". Can anyone help me out here?
What am I doing wrong? No errors durring installation, yet the K10vsd script
status shows: "vsd dead but subsystem locked".

Thanks,

Christopher

try exporting the path for freeVSd or cd to /usr/sbin and put ./ in front of
the command
