It seems to me that if the open source process is
going to work, then the way to keep the
freevsd process public is to keep on innovating with
the open source software. A good collection of
open source developments in freevsd would
obsolete the locked down source in short order.
So it will not be adventageous to lock down the code.
You have to keep up the development rate on the
public software if you are going to keep open source
code competative.
I am sure there are no shortages of other places that
would sponsor freevsd archive sites and lists if
you need them to be seperated from the current
locale.
