I like mediawiki too, but for our project I prefer to have all in one hand. So you have to maintain a single design (which is not optimal yet) and most important, you can directly link to all stuff inside trac. The ticket-system uses the same syntax as the wiki etc.
I integrated a basic template enabled wiki extension, and I'm trying to rework the design for the site whenever I get time for that (thats not often). My last non-public tries to alter the design are available in a separate trac instance under https://sandbox.freewrt.org/trac-sandbox/. (You need your login).
