Feel free to handle it this way, but for me the ticket in trac is more important. I want to use the bug tracker as primary source for all this stuff. So the ticket should always reflect the actual status of the bug. If the svn revision of a fix is mentioned in the ticket then I will find the changes quite easy, so the commit mails are not sooo important for me (but of course I am reading them too). The only problem I see so far is that it seems to be not possible (without hacking trac) to have another status... something like "fixed, release pending" would be great. as I already explained, I don't want to close tickets for 1.0 unless a new release is really available, because that helps me to keep track of all changes and because this might help users that expierence the same problem/bug.
