It seems reasonable to say that the parts and connectedness of our system are experiencing increasing change. This doesn't mean something generally frightening will happen, just something we can't predict. It is hard to say, especially in this world of technology and concentrated wealth what compensatory adaptations might occur, how and by whom their are perceived, and whether they will also tend toward infinity. Necessity is the mother of invention. ============================================================ FRIAM Applied Complexity Group listserv Meets Fridays 9a-11:30 at cafe at St. John's College lectures, archives, unsubscribe, maps at http://www.friam.org
