I've been using Gmail for three or four years now, both for my home and work
accounts. I never bothered with mail clients, I just used the web interface;

like to get to my email from whichever machine I happen to be on.

Owen, what are you looking to get from a mail client that you won't get from
the web interface?

P.S. I forgot to mention: I like Gmail a lot. The only problem I have with
it is that searching is surprisingly clunky. Other than that, no problems.
