My understanding is the *matching* fund is what is important .. if
mayday gets $5M by 7/4, it gets matched by several wealthy folks.
I didn't see anything on the site about extending beyond 7/4. I do
know that when you pledge, you get to say "keep it anyway" if the goal
is not made. But the matching is where the magic is.
