I moved to New Zealand in 2015 and then Australia in 2016 so happy to provide
the rosetta stone for those two countries. Spoiler - almost everyone I've ever
encountered on this list would be on the "immediate skills shortage list" which
accelerates immigration for both countries.
Lots of upside, like $1USD = $1.51AUD, socialised medicine, mandatory employer
backed saving for retirement, plenty of space (size of continental USA with a
population of 25M). Downsides such as island continent. If it isn't made or
grown here it is expensivo. Plus, 14 hours by air if you leave family behind in
the USA.
