I use lastPass - on a laptop, not a phone. Its OK, but wouldn't rave about it. Web browsers come with ones built in these days, so maybe that's an option.
But yes, remembering 9999999 passwors is not an option, nor is reusing the same password. Also consider using Passkeys where available. They have now become feasible to use on Linux in thelast 6 months, due to Firefox getting passkey management.
