Dear Alfredo, Bill, I have now everything together what I need, but I am completely lost how to prepare this windows binary. I do not understand the nsis script. Does it install the X server etc. as well?
On http://axiom-wiki.newsynthesis.org/FriCASBinaries I find Alfredo Portes has prepared a full binary version of FriCAS in cygwin on Windows (including Hyperdoc and Graphics). This has been packaged as a WindowsInstaller program with the minimum number of libraries required to allow FriCAS to run under native Windows. It does not require that cygwin also be installed. I am able to compile and run FriCAS under Cygwin/Windows XP (following the instructions in INSTALL.CYGWIN), and I would like to distribute a "binary", whatever that is, so that HyperDoc and graphics work. * How can I do that? * What happens, if the user has cygwin already installed? * would this work only on XP, or also on Vista? Many thanks, Martin --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "FriCAS - computer algebra system" group.
