For what it's worth, looking through the web, I found some pages that possibly explain how to install "unsupported" cygwin packages: http://www.physionet.org/physiotools/xview/#windows Also, there is "Install from Local Directory" in setup.exe, but I do not know yet whether this is what I need. I'd like to have the students: * download some files from MathAction and put them on their Desktop * start setup.exe * somehow select these files, and have everything (also the dependencies listed in INSTALL.CYGWIN) installed, ideally also an icon they can click on to start "efricas" (from the fricas/contrib/emacs directory) which starts emacs with fricas in it.
