Just complaining doesn't help. Everyone is invited to improve or replace
HyperDoc by something more modern.

Well, there’s the dilemma of open source projects. If everyone does their own thing then the documentation will remain fragmented, incomplete and unimpressive to new users. I think such a project does require some sort of direction from the person leading the project.

However I get the impression that Tim has largely failed to get other people to produce literate documents (they may like the idea but not doing it). Similarly I would suspect a documentation plan based on HyperDoc would fail. Its easy to start such a project but I suspect it would not get maintained. It does not seem very helpful to suggest everyone goes out and writes their own documentation system.

I think it needs something very very simple which requires no new learning, i.e. it can be done with a WYSIWYG editor. Then document standards need to be enforced.
