The 'gnuplot' function works perfectly whereas GnuDraw requires X (unless 
I've missed something?). Consequently the process FriCAS => gnuplot script 
=> set terminal [ps|png|...] => Insert into frontend is a simple yet 
reliable method to get graphics into the frontends (not only with gp). For 
the IPy kernel (wrapped or native)  I see no other way to embed graphics at 
the moment.

I glimpsed at the sources, well, tremendous work .. which needs some time 
to understand. At least one can see that people have been contemplating on 
this subject.
