@Waldek: I mean, you said that I = \int_a^b f(x)dx = ad_gauss(f, a, b, 1.0e-12, 
25), but looking at the use of h (third parameter) in the code I would say that 
I = ad_gauss(f, a, b-a, 1.0e-12, 25). Ric
