I believe the full answer is actually no.

I.E.  Yes, from your Linux system you can connect to the Truman lab
network printers but I don't believe you'll be able to successfully
print.  

The student lab printers are managed by a printer accounting system
(PAS).  As documented on the ITS web site PAS works with Windows systems
and Mac's but not currently with Linux.  We do have an open ticket with
the PAS development requesting Linux support be added.  Linux support
"MAY" be added in a PAS update that's scheduled to be released this
summer.  I will try to remember to contact them tomorrow and get an
update.

You can add the printer, and on the address field of Samba printer,
put something like smb://tp1/PL312P01 - and put your username and
password right below that.
