Hi I had some experience with agencies last year and try to avoid them now. Got frustrated with the rates, talking to English backpackers continuously and people who wanted DW experience rather than markup/css knowledge. I did the "this is my rate thing" and most of them said that's what they are charging the client. At least they were open :D.
I prefer to go direct to company or client, word of mouth etc etc. Note sure about the real estate agent analogy ... I think they are their to get the most commission for themselves? then again... :D Cheers James Ellis www.webqs.com --- WSG - http://webstandardsgroup.org | Web Standards Group syd::php - http://sydney.ug.php.net | Sydney PHP Developers --- #300 - http://www.sitepoint.com/articlelist/300 --- ---------- Original Message ----------- From: "Steve Onnis" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Flash Developers List" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Fri, 26 Sep 2003 13:15:47 +1000 Subject: [fugli] Re: agencies and Flash rates in Sydney > Why do you go to a realestate agent when you sell your house?
