There are over 600 million people worldwide who are on the Internet in
one way or another.  Care to guess how many of those don't have a system
administrator maintaining their systems?

And before you say something like "well, they deserve what they get",
remember that if less than 1 tenth of 1 percent of them are compromised,
it can effectively bring the entire Internet to a crawl for all of us.

Do you honestly expect the six million in Africa to all go out and buy
routers?
