So does that mean that I could do a man-in-the-middle of a Van Halen
riff and modify it remotely if it were wireless? 

 

I could make his riff sound like something I would create - not
something anyone would like for sure.

 

That is, if he used a Les Paul...

 

And had it connected wireless...

Today Gibson introduced their latest Les Paul. Other than the automatic
tuning robot this $2k guitar includes an embedded ethernet port to
permit the player to rock out a whopping 100m away! No information given
whether or not you can set up a repeater/bridge solution to increase the
rocking distance.
