If we have to have this chauvinistic knock-the-Brits-and-let's-all-have-the-right-to-shoot-people stuff every so often, can we at least get some of the facts right? That story concerns a misleading statistic from a biased source, and you're misinterpreting it (as well as ignoring the conclusion of the story). We didn't suddenly and arbitrarily ban guns in the 1990s, and there wasn't an immediate exponential increase in UK gun-crime.
