I have an alternate solution, which I think would be quite effective. Unfortunately, sadly, tragically, it's not legal. Pity. However:
Given that they were trying to hand out executive bonuses while simultaneously laying off workers, I would suggest decapitating the corporate officers and permanently mounting their heads on iron posts outside corporate HQ as a subtle reminder to their successors. I realize that this would incur a one-time expense -- and I have no idea what the current market rates are for quality executioners, although iron posts are quite cheap -- but on the other hand, the resulting decrease in compensation (inluding bonuses) should be far more than adequate to cover it. Now I realize that this is lenient, perhaps excessively so. But in an effort to promote a kinder, gentler society I think we can afford the luxury of extending mercy to them far greater than they have ever demonstrated. ---rsk _______________________________________________ Fun and Misc security discussion for OT posts. https://linuxbox.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/funsec Note: funsec is a public and open mailing list.
