Well, Alan, I agree with you wholeheartedly. Which is why at Fusion
Authority and JM Publishers, our motto is: Make lighter books that have more
meat! You'll note that the Fusebox book that we're putting out next month is
less than 200 pages and will cost you $29.95. A book you can carry around
with you, and it will have lots of great new stuff in it, including a
chapter on fUseML and basic and advanced Fusebox techniques. It's also got
some controversial ideas in it, including Steve Nelson's explanation of how,
with practice and proper pre-planning, a good Fusebox developer can
eventually write the bare-bones version of an entire site in just 5 days!
I enjoyed your thesis, btw. Very funny, and unfortunately, very true.
Everything but the kitchen sink doesn't always help if it's not organized
well or written clearly.
