I've got a comment here, and I think it applies to a variety of
technologies, not just Distiller...
As we've all seen, as an application goes through its version cycles, so
does the EULA that ships with the app.
Now, when Adobe released the original version of Distiller way back in the
stone age, what, circa 1993, 1994 or so, it was given away for free on the
Illustrator 5.0 CD, for the Mac at least... I'm sure the Windows version of
the initial Distiller product is similar.
Now, if it turns out that the older version is capable of doing the job, and
the EULA that shipped with it is loose as a goose, couldn't ya just run that
old version?
