I'm sorry, I seem to have missed the original question, but if what is needed is a way
to populate a PDF form dynamically, then this can be easily achieved using Adobe's own
FDF format. No special license is needed, nor is Distiller or any other server-side
process required (except CF of course). I can send more details if anyone is
interested. However this isn't true generation of a fresh PDF file, but rather using
an existing PDF file as a template and doing token substitutions to populate the
content.
