I'm a real AF Pilot and the smell of burning JP8 does smell
good...sometimes..... Too much of it and you get a headache though.  I
also saw a C-17 model someone in the UK built that was also incredible.


I have 800+ hours of KC-135R aircraft commander time.  What I'd like to
see is a 1/8th KC-135 air refueling that 1/8th B-52G.  Now THAT would be
cool...

you miss the smell though.

I fly radio control helicopters and a number of people fly turbine
helicopters, the smell of jet fuel downwind is amazing!!!
