Check out 4Templates.com -
cheap, but sharp designs. --- Billy Cravens -----Original Message----- Greetings All: We have recently acquired a client that desires a global
cosmetic change to their website, in addition to a conversion to
ColdFusion/Fusebox 3. We have been given permission to spend $150 to
acquire 3 design templates from a qualified graphic artist. One of these
design templates will be chosen as the new overall design of the site. The right person for the job will have the following
qualities: 1. Willing to provide the three design templates in an
Adobe application (preferably Photoshop) format 2. Willing to produce three fully useable basic
designs for the price indicated ($150) (i.e. Once provided to us, we have
everything we need to develop and deploy additional navigation, etc., with no
further contact with the designer required) 3. Willing to provide live examples of prior work, for
a variety of different websites 4. Able to take a current website, and given the
existing information, provide an original, creative new look that can be
implemented easily as a fusebox 3 design template I know the price is fairly low, but the design will remain
simple. An artist skilled in Photoshop will probably not have a
problem "kicking this out" fairly quickly. The client is
non-profit with a tight budget... and they are doing wonderful and important
work (which may make you feel warm and fuzzy for donating a little
time?). We do not need Flash, heavy animation, or extensive
javascripts/rollovers. We need a "nice new look" for a
relatively small site. This client is THE authority in their field, and
this is basically the "official" website for the topic they cover. In addition to the money earned, we are willing to provide a
link from the completed website to a web location of your choice, to give you
appropriate credit for your work. Also, there is no giant rush for this
request... we'd like the three samples in about 3 or 4 weeks, which means you
may be able to fit this work in between other jobs. If you are somehow insulted by this request (either because
it's been posted to this list, or because of the low payout, or any of the
other reasons that inevitably get people's panties into a bunch), please do us
all a favor and just ignore it or delete it, instead of voicing some soapboxy
diatribe online. I am already aware of what I am asking here, and don't
need to be reminded that it may be unreasonable for a certain lot. However, if you are interested in this request and the
payout it offers, please respond off-list, with links to your live
examples. We will choose the designer from that point, and contact you
with all the information you need. Thanks for your time,
