Why is there no database?  That was my choice, in order to make portability and set-up easy.  You can email around the data-files, print them out as project documentation.  You can just unzip the entire app, and off you go, with no other set-up required.
 
The text data-file format (based in INI format) was created by Hal, intended to be people-readable and people-writable.
 
It has taken some time for me to create a better interface for editing, so you don't HAVE to edit the data-file directly.  That has now been done, and it's easy as, but I haven't yet released the code.  You can see the new version in action here:

I guess you misunderstood me.  Wireframes works.  DB connectivity in MX
preview release doesn't work for me.

Is there a reason why wireframes does not use a db?  What was the design
reason behind it?  including why it uses straight text as opposed to forms?
