Laurent,

in fact I think ALL 3 of the Fusebox books are good !:) However the one they
are obviously referring to is the one from 2 years ago since none of the
people posting in the thread you quote below would have had access to the 2
new Fusebox books.

I think that first book, penned in spring 2000 (?) and published in November
2000, did a pretty good job of explaining Fusebox, particularly for the
"advanced beginner". If it wasn't a literary masterpiece, then so what? Very
few books are nowadays. It certainly accomplished its main goals: to explain
the basics of Fusebox1 and to outline some of the best practices which later
become conglomerately known as Fusebox3. It expanded the range of people
using Fusebox, it gave a marking stone for much of the very original work
Hal did with XFB that later got molded into FB3, and it just plain helped
people. All for the price of lunch for two.

Also, I'm a little suspect when someone says :

> The information available at www.fusebox.org <http://www.fusebox.org/>
> covers everything that is in the book, but better organized.

well since the current site came after the book, it's not surprising. But
Fusebox.org is "better organized"??? Ooh, I got a chuckle outta that one! :)
