C. Yue wrote back to me with that very same response (verbatum). It's a solution that would either work only "once" or if all you wanted was simply the "template name" that was being used. For our needs that is not enough information, since we use a single template for multiple data files sometimes for different clients month after month. We would need is something that can give us either the name of the data file (via a FusionPro.Composition.inputFileName command), or having the imposition template "programmed" with the same data stream/headers that its calling pdf template is using and pull out a "jobID" data field that is in that stream.
THAT is EXACTLY what we (and I'm sure others as well) would need. --- David A.
