Something like this:
var NumFields = NumNonEmptyFields("field1", "field2",
"field3", "field4", "field5", "field6");
var NumBreaks = 5 - NumFields;
var result = "";
for (var i = 0; i < NumBreaks; i++)
result += "<br/>";
return result;
Or, depending on what you're ultimately trying to accomplish, you
might just be able to use the "Suppress if empty" feature and bottom-
alignment in a text frame.
