I put this in....got this validation error: "CountFieldNumber, line 1: ReferenceError: NumNonEmptyFields is not defined"
The logic for suppress empty fields IS being used, BUT, for every empty line produced more than 4, I need to put that empty space at the top of the list, so that two fields that are above those six do not move down with the rest of the copy...the space increases to accommodate the position of those top two fields (basically fields 7 & 8) Thanks! -- AN INNERWORKINGS COMPANY Managed Print & Promotional Solutions ISO 9001:2000 Certified Jackie L. Thanks! Something like this: var NumFields = NumNonEmptyFields("field1", "field2", "field3", "field4", "field5", "field6"); var NumBreaks = 5 - NumFields; var result = ""; for (var i = 0; i < NumBreaks; i++) result += "<br/>"; return result; Or, depending on what you're ultimately trying to accomplish, you might just be able to use the "Suppress if empty" feature and bottom- alignment in a text frame.
