Hi all, The "fonts appearing as dots" issue has been something we have been working on this week and we've narrowed it down to certain types of fonts. We are working with a 3rd party partner who supplied the component that is causing this issue and we hope to issue a fix soon.
In the meantime, unless you have a need to use the Unicode feature (for typesetting Chinese, Japanese, etc) or you have a need for the crop-mark "use black-color" enhancement, you can use FusionPro 5.1 instead of 5.8.
