Howdy allison -

Is this going to be on the web to print system? If so sounds like you need a
call out to an external database to get your starting number - something like

get beginning number from this location with these credentials
execute code to put on numbers (for lop with starting number to starting number
+250)
put end number to this location with these credentials

well - i was of no help - i can't really think of a way to get a dynamic number
without a call out to a different database or file - hopefully it gives you at
least a direction

Subject: [fusionpro] sequential numbering - start # based on spreadsheet

Hi,

We have gift certificates that get sequentially numbered, however the
sequence does not start at zero each time.

Ex: If person A orders 250 certificates they will be numbered
#1-250....then when person B places an order and orders 500 certificates
they will be numbered #251-750 and so on....

Does anyone know if there's a way to do numbering based on a spreadsheet
or file uploaded elsewhere that tracks the numbering?

Thanks!
