Jeff,

Although you might have better luck producing the PPML file, you won't
see a significant improvement in RIP times on the press unless you have
HP's production Manager or offline multiple RIPs.  PPML as Mark
mentioned earlier, will only really benefit you by taking advantage of
the increased firepower of multiple RIPs.

We have had mixed results with JLYT with Fusion Pro.  What we eventually
ended up deciding, was there were files that ripped fined as JLYT and
for some reason, there were jobs that did not.  It was those jobs we
just went through the time necessary to RIP the PDF.  We have recently
purchased the HP Production Manger (2 node) and run almost all PDFs with
great luck.

Let me know if this helps or you need additional information.  I agree
with you on the Print Fusion and we wouldn't go back to YTD.
