It is interesting that USA and Israel seem to take for granted that
mass murder can be shrugged off with an apology (or not even that)
as long as others are on the receiving end.  Whereas they also take
for granted that the Germans living today (most of them were adults
only after 1945) must pay billions every year for acts committed by
some of their ancestors.  Double standards, anyone?

If someone killed your relatives, would you be content with an apology?
Probably not even if he only ran over your dog...  And all this in a
country where you get $2.7 million in punitive damages for pouring hot
coffee over your own lap.  "Ils sont fou, ces romains..."
