You're a person from another culture complaining about a government system you seem to know nothing about. Things don't happen here quickly.
Reagan was only manifested after he was dead through what he had entered into the system. Carter's legacy is still evolving due to his shepherding of it by being alive and vital. Obama's legacy will be much later than these two years. This is not a parliament that changes and everything goes its way or their kicked out. This is a checks and balances system meant to be slow. It is being destroyed by the excess cultural waste that Europe drove off during World War II and that were picked up by American Universities and who decided to deliberately cultivate the wealthy for their purposes and prosperity. von Mises, Friedman, Hayek, Leo Strauss, etc., etc., etc. All teamed up with the protestant Rockefellers and their culture. The WWII immigrants were just the latest at pumping up the egos and self service of the protestant and now catholic wealthy of America. Liberal none of them are. But neo-liberal they all are. Creative Greed is their polity, cash is their god, an irresponsible market is their system and their loyalty is to class. The poorest citizen in America bears no relationship or responsibility in their eyes whatsoever. Like the English of Blake, the English of Dickens and the English of Jack London, the poor are devils and they are grateful that God didn't make them born into that position for which the poor devils are totally responsible themselves. I wouldn't blame that attitude on Jesus. He had rather strong things to say about such an attitude with the banker in the temple. These folks are the latest version of the old European forest system that destroyed all of the wild animals of Europe as inconvenient. They did the same to my people here for the same reason. They offered bounties for the heads of any man, woman or child and they offered $600 for a complete skeleton for science in the 1800s. There are thousands of those skeletons still in museums here. Cherokees signed on to the American system because of the Checks and Balances in 1828 when we gave up the law of blood. Since the rise of Reagan and the modern wealthy, even the Supreme Court has been politicized in a systematic way through think tanks and the federalist society that has taken over the courts for partisan purposes. The whole American system is in chaos fomented by the upper 1% and they aren't Soros. Soros is one of the good ones over here. So blaming Obama for being slow and doing what he can is ignorant. It's like the tea party here. Mad as Hatter. As for my comment about bible. Your inference is incorrect. Bible to me means sacred library. It can be anyone who worship literacy and considers that only literacy is the truth. It starts with "in the beginning was the word" and the people who invented that were pagan Greeks. It's all your history and a part of some of my ancestors as well. Without them I wouldn't exist so I have to give back some. However I believe literacy is seriously overrated and is far inferior to sensible observation. It has a purpose but that purpose is not to be "truth". Only shards. You have supplement the shards with observation and thinking and creating world for the good of all life and cultures not just yours. That was what I meant by myth and bible.
