I've noted that the super-rich are not appreciably better parents than
anyone else although they have more available.

Not all is well with the super-rich.  I recall an article I read a few
months ago about the children of the super-rich.  Not ever having to do
anything, many of them, as adults, don't know what to do with themselves.
Depression and suicide may not be commonplace, but they are there.
