I just reviewed the video and don't at all get what you're saying,
though I have never read any of Hedge's books, and didn't know he helped
defeat Gore.
Are you saying that you disagree with the opening references to civil
disobedience? Was he saying that there's no other way in one of his
books or articles?

Obama held hope with his credentials and intellectual skills but he
has proven to be not up to the job. He was out organized by a
concert pianist, Sam Lipman, now dead, but who started the ball

around during that whole thing and one day I will write about it from
the view where I sat. Sam was my coach for a time but he was a right

Koch brothers started Cato.
Hedges is articulate but not much use in this system. He is as out
of touch with the system as are the neo-Feudalists.

Another voice from the barricades. First time I've heard a blunt
account of what is going on in "Occupy Wall Street". The
mainstream media have not told us much about this insurgency,
probably less than about the Arab Spring. Let's hope the movement
keeps up its momentum.
Hedges is the author of a number of great books, among
which_Death of the Liberal Class_ and_Empire of Illusion_.
