Mike, they have the same story about the value of the Arts. Public Goods versus Luxury Goods. The reason they can get away with it in the arts is because of a labor glut that keeps up the quality for the few. The public in Canada no longer needs Canadian kids to have an education for the good of society. They have enough for their own class and that's all they care about. Same here, even in my family which is an embarrassment to me and an insult to the memory of my parents and what they fought for.
