Greetings,
The description of the study made it seem, at best, only to offer much smaller 
and even then tenuous conclusions than the researcher state and the study 
supports.  But I find the initial thought interesting: looking at things 
"globally", vs "locally".  I think it merits further examination, including 
political topics. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict comes immediately to mind, 
and the global/local distinction may be of true and significant use here.
