Was that addressed to me or to Arthur?  We moved to Canada in 1969.
But we moved to Nova Scotia which, I later learned, was regarded by much
of the rest of the nation as Canada's hilbilly Ozarks. In addition, I
moved to a *part* of Nova Scotia that, in many ways, was still in
the early '50s in comparison with, say, central Ohio.  There were more
families, ours among them, on my 6-mile long rural road who owned draught
animals that those that didn't.

No, I don't think it was Harper's Canada.  Because we had no phone,
two guys from the government came to our door to make sure we were
enrolled in the health care program.

Or maybe that's not what you were asking...
