I'll repeat Ed's "Wow!"

And just add: I've already mentioned that (halfway through reading Joe
Stiglitz's book) I was uncomfortable by his constant special pleading. But
Kenneth Rogoff's vituperative response is something else again! I suppose
he felt he had to support his staff at IMF but . . . Wow! again. (However,
his revelation of what Joe Stiglitz's said in private conversation was, as
we say over here, "not quite cricket, ol' boy".)

I cannot imagine that Joe Stiglitz will suffer this in silence. The what
and how of his response is going to be interesting.
