Thanks for the Lightfoot-Klein reference, Brad. Is this a book? I do think that thi smatter of how we see things, and how we transcend our own assumptions and 'certainties' is important.
This list is formally dedicated to studying the future of work: I realise that I have a hard time doing so, in part because of the deeply engrained assumptions I make about such things as the relationship of work to income; individual choices in the context of social imperatives; intergenerational responsibilities; the social legitimacy of social experimentation; inter-individual responsibility, etc. I value these list discussions as one of the ways we can find others to challenge our assumptions and help, step by step, to take off those blinders.
