Keith, If you review medical publications, you will find Jews, Christians, and Muslims on a lot of the same lists of coauthors. What the world fails to understand is that Palestinians are heads and tails above the rest of the Middle East in basic intelligence and productivity. If Israel had been created in Kuwait, we would never have heard a whimper. I believe that what has happened with Ashkenazi Jews and Palestinians is Darwinian both have been under siege for centuries and those who have survived are extremely competent. Another similar group is Black Americans. Their problem is their heavy reliance on African origins which provides a different perspective at looking at the world. They don't fit the capitalist mode very well. Some tend to be matricentric which may enhance their survival due to the nuturing aspect of that family model. They operate much more on an extended family model than does WASP America. How they have survived and excelled in the environment they did is remarkable. It is only now that we are seeing outstanding Blacks in large numbers reach the top due to 2/3 having made it to the middle class. Don't forget the 200 million Indians who have reached the middle class as well. European dominance is well on its way to ending.
