Well, Keith, now that you couldn't agree with me more, I'll give you something to possibly agree with less. ;-) What I was also suggesting was that the market, specifically the time-is-money labour market, is the prime example of a promised utopia that leads us into dystopia. Or rather I was agreeing with Weber's startling image of the work ethic leading to iron cage (on which is written *arbeit macht frei*).
