What a great idea. Why not a panel on the Future of all types of work in
an economy that only has jobs for 60% of the population and how we can
spread money around to people who will enjoy work and be paid for doing work
that is good for the whole society as well as for the development of their
own fulfillment and individual potential. To give money away to those
who don't have jobs or to expand the idea of jobs to meet the entire work
population. The problem of stagnation and blocked creativity in a 100%
employment situation and what are the professions that are available to us
as sewage cleaners to clean out the work process when it becomes stifled and
retentive without having to resort to war or a massive public health die
off. Perhaps we could write a "Work Manifesto" in the 21st Century and
publish it and stir up things a bit. Something beyond the World Bank and
all of those nightmares and murderous situations.

Something like that. Or we can sit around and talk about fricatives and
communication and roots of things as well. Or we could just have a concert
and enjoy the fruits of our cultures. Then talk about it. You decide.
All we need is imagination. We could take up a collection and bring
Chris, Charles and Keith over as well. We might even steal Gurstien from
the French and bring Fernande out of the lurking corner. What are you
all doing this summer?

Regards

Ray
