Ray wrote responding to Arthur's suggestion that if I invite Ray to be Artist in Residence at my Faculty then he'd like to come and sit in:
"What a great idea. Why not a panel on the Future of all types of work in an economy that only has jobs for 60% of the population and how we can spread money around to people who will enjoy work and be paid for doing work that is good for the whole society as well as for the development of their own fulfillment and individual potential." Hi Ray (O.F.)and the rest of the list(many of whom are O.Fs. also (right Harry?) Arthur and Sally have already done this back in 1995. My dear friend and colleague Skip Hills, who is a lurker on this list, and I invited them to the first of 5 annual colloquia we've organized on the theme of "Education, Globalization and Young People". These colloquia involved a keynote address on Thursday evening and a round table discussion (approx. 50 people including students, faculty and invited guests)the following day. Our key note speakers have included Leonard Waks, Langdon Winner, Robert Theobald, and John McMurtry. Take care, Brian ======================= Ray wrote: > What a great idea.
